On behalf of a friend, I am offering a complete and unrestored Welte Licensee reproducing system. It was recently removed from a Strohmenger grand, which the owner is to have restored as a straight piano.
In common with the Ampico, the Welte Licensee is designed to be fitted to a variety of grand pianos, with all components fitted underneath the instrument. So the new owner could potentially install it in an instrument of his/her own choosing.
I'll get some pictures posted shortly. At this stage, I'm not sure how much to ask, as it's clearly something of a one-off item. |
