Just type the names into Google to get the URL.

Niels,
This forum is quite a new one. I recall that it was launched in April 2007.

no wonder. I think it's a great initiative, and maybe (though some people will disagree) a great substite for the MDD as this is far less timeconsuming to edit (considering you can have more than a few people monitoring the place.)

Steck Duo Art Niels,
Is it an English made Steck you are buying?
Andy :D

I hope so, and I guess so, buying it from Michael Boyd in Rye, so probably an english Steck..... though Mike said it had a 110V motor..... did the UK ran at 110V back then?

Steck Hi Niels,
When the UK first had electricity it was DC (Direct Current) that was replaced with AC (Alternating Current).
The voltage has as far as I can remember been 240 Volts 50Hz (moving closer to 220 Volts for harmonising with the EU)
The USA is 110 Volt 60Hz. So if you have an American motor in the player then unless the pulley size on the motor has been altered the pump will rotate at the wrong speed.
Check with the seller to be sure.
An isolating transformer used for power tools would be a good source of power for it as it will be 110 Volt output.
I have an American made Steck 1/2 Duo Art which I will be converting to fa full expression PEDA (I have bought the full expression box and other parts from a guy in Iowa)

I was wondering why somebody in the UK would want to run it's original 220V player on 110V them, unless it's an american Steck which had it's original pump. It's no big deal as I'll buy the thing anyway, but I'd prefer an English Steck...
