yay! It's "waste the listing fees time" again! I've seen this one before! And read the same bonkers text! Thank god for "cut n paste!" eBay surely make more money from items unsild rather than items sold!
Anyway, moving on! I'm terribly sorry but I'm gonna have to trump the "S'lut d'Amour" tonight right here and now!

check out roll 20381 : it SHOULD be "Bonne-Bouche Polka"....
Oh! The shame, the shame!

20381 is clearly a very clean roll, that's all. If you slip on the water, just apply roll 40373 from the same site.

Rolls in Oz on an all time high Check out the prices for rolls on eBay Aus, its ludicrous. They are getting three times more than equivelent value when the rolls were new!!
Seems to have suddenly become exceptionally popular (and obscure titles too!!) in fact some auctions dont even list the titles? :)

Paul has written a good point there , with the Australian dollar been at a 30 year high , ive found its now cheaper to get (sort after )rolls from EBay (USA) then to pay here.Even with postage added on top I'm still ahead in costs , so i have to wait 12-15 days for it to arrive , that doesn't worry me.
I can also see myself in the future buying a Ampico or Welte Grand player and getting it (slowly) shipped back to Oz.The price difference is just amazing , in the US ive seen $2000-$8000 , here in Oz for the same thing $15,000+ easy.
Dan.
Aha, I see it's now been altered to £4.99, thus spoiling our fun. The seller must have seen my posting on this forum!

ok i admit this is NOT player related but still a piano.
The seller has listed this Grand piano as "Baby Grand".Now if this is the baby grand size , i would hate to see the Concert grand size in this range....lol.

I know its more of a quick typo error, but also sellers should always research there products and with the right information could get a high response.
Daniel :)

I would love that Baby grand to be my hintensetzer (the opposed of a vorsetzer :P )......
looks like a nice instrument, though a bit above budget...

hmm... early Collards are nice enough : many of the earlier ones from those years have keys that are a very slightly different width to modern standard and also curved instead of straight ends. A restored one would be nice to play but don't expect the piano to sound great with 20s 30s song rolls via a push-up!
