I'm now thinking that my Gulbransen must be worth about 1.5 million, any takers?...lol

The expensive player has now had its price edited and corrected to $350.00 , its also funny that even when the price was (incorrectly) listed at $350,000 he had the following message on his page:
"I can't understand why a dozen lurkers watch this piano over and over, auction after auction and don't bid a dime?!?! What's up with that???"
Im sure now he will have a better chance and i wish him all the best in selling a great piece.
Daniel.

I do know the (entirely realistic) seller of this one! Clearly a typographical error! LOL
This is a nice looking player , but the price is a bit steep. But at least for that price he is throwing in a Chair, book, rolls,Cabinet and a tracker pump.I guess if you brought them all separate it would cost more then he is asking

I think he may mean just $4500.....just another typo of course :)

Paul,
Well I know some for sure weren't riff raff, my maternal great uncle emigrated to Aus at the turn of the 20th Century and settled in Brisbane, there are quite a few relatives around that area now (although I don't currently have any contact with them, it would be nice to make contact. My great aunt was the last person to have any contact.
Also my cousin (who now lives in Launceston Tasi) was born in Brisbane.
His mother my paternal aunt went over down under in 50s on the assisted passage scheme - she now lives in Southern Ireland!
I have got to know a number of Australians from where I live and hope to visit mainland Aus in the next couple of years - so watch out!
Andy:D :D

Hi Andy,
I hope you come over, love to meet you. You would love it here, very different from Europe, sadly not so much history, but you guys got a jump on that by a few thousand years :)

Aus Paul,
I visited Tasmania for just over a week a few years ago. The reason for the short visit was that I was in Hong Kong for the company I then worked for inspecting their products being built in China.
They paid for me to fly down to Tasmania, where I stayed with my cousin.
It would be nice to visit during your summer - what away to escape the Scottish winter!
I am also in contact with another pianola enthusiast who lives in Hobart. You may have come across his recent posting on MMD?
Would you let me have your email address?
Thanks
Andy :D

Chaps,
Wouldn't it be better to start a new thread, or a private exchange of messages, if you want to talk about Australia? This one's about eBay, but it now seems to have wandered way off topic. Just a thought...
andypandy92- 11-18-2007
That's why I asked for Paul's email address :!:
Andy  :D

Oh no! More titles by famous composers that have lain undiscovered until now! Ebay item #370000940970
Relude - Chopin
Etade Op 9 E flat - Chopin
Roll It - Cesar Frank
"Etade"? That's just "Etaded" Cesar Frankly!
