A Pianola in my fridge Upon my return home from work a few evenings ago, I announced to my partner, Helen, that a colleague had kindly given me a Pianola and that I had just placed it in the fridge.
Judging by her show of total disbelief, she clearly thought that I had taken leave of my senses, so I urged her to open the fridge door and take a look. The pictures on the links below prove that I do, indeed, have a Pianola in my fridge. Two, in fact!

A Pianola in my fridge What------No beer?
Adam Ramet- 05-27-2008
yeah, I can see a can of Guiness tucked in there so Hal, you're right, no beer! Guiness is just a fizzy drink made from compost / peat for people who think it's actually beer...but everyone knows it isn't. Last time I drank some (which was the first and indeed the LAST time!) it did indeed taste like a fizzy drink made from forest dirt / composted lawn clippings. Guiness is great if you want to stain your teeth a dark shade.
Next time I see Ian I will buy him a proper pint!

Ah, Lidl has so much to answer for... but what on earth made them decide to adopt the name Pianola for yoghurt and cereal bars? Why just those product lines? If good enough for them why not other stuff?

A Pianola in my fridge Actually, my wife, who comes from Suffolk, loves Guiness. They have come up with a plastic ball of Co2 in a can to give it a head? for shipping to the Colonies.

what on earth made them decide to adopt the name Lidl!? Ya know, last weekend I was out of town and had to drop into a shop somewhere to get something or other, the only shop I passed was Aldi so I quickly turned into their carpark. I've never been in an Aldi before ...and only in a Lidl once ever. It was the weirdest experience of my life. The customers were weird : weirder than a trip to Asda even! It wasn't really apparent where everything was, it wasn't really apparent where ANYTHING was or even where it might be. It was really sort of random actually what they did stock : down an aisle you'd have pineapple chunks, picnic deck chair, meat something, chocolate cake, dog biscuits, fag lighters. Is that normal I ask you? After 10 uncomfortable minutes I found what I wanted paid and fled. Not so sure what the others did : I think they found what they wanted and just fled...without paying...
Jeez! Ian puts two yoghurts into his fridge and posts a picture and the forum gets real lively! What is the world coming to! Ian, tell us why there's two jars of marmalade in there - is it his-n-hers?
Do I really have to buy one of those chocolate "Tracker Bar" snacks and post a picture of it somewhere funny now I s'pose? mental note - first stop in the morning : newsagent for Tracker Bar, take camera to town, find somewhere to stick it....
